*TRAFFIC CONTROL TRAINING TONIGHT!*
*3330 Skyway Dr. (one mile past airport)*
*7-9 pm, Room 116*
**
Althougth the weather outside is blustery, cold and wet, the 1-189th, at
3330 Skyway Dr., has lots of indoor room for Traffic Control Training.
This is important training for all CERT Volunteers, Civil Air Patrol
Volunteers, American Red Cross Volunteers, and Ham Radio Operators who
will respond during an emergency on the front lines by manning vehicles
or checkpoints or will even be walking along or assisting by blocking
access to roads or accident scenes. Whether you are volunteering to help
with traffic control during a road race or parade, or helping to park
cars at Symphony Under the Stars, you will learn valuable techniques to
keep yourself safe as cars and trucks drive near you.
Deputy Steve Orr is traveling up from Madison County to conduct this
training for Tri-County CERT. Please join me in making the trip worth
his while by being there.
See you tonight!
